Out Standing Treatments

Picture is obtained from http://www.exponent.com/files/Uploads/Images/Biomechanics/burn.jpg

At first it is just a thought.

Then this thought becomes the dangerous seed of an idea.

The idea germinates and starts sprouting troubles.

Mercilessly chop down its network branches.

Branches that are still flowering and bearing fruits.

Login accounts are brutally DISABLED.

Computers CANNOT login.

Pleading falls on deaf ears (OFF by default).

Those helpless are seen by open, but blind eyes (with built in filters).

The environment is contaminated with new ideas to bring more hardship and misery.

Any attempts to better things are futile and brutally squashed.
Only feeling of helplessness remains. Already resign to the cruel fate.

Sadly, the freedom to strike is permitted by the dumb ruling "mighty",

Who has full of self-declared righteousness.

Exercise "Weight throwing feats" again and again.

Achievement is at the expenses of others.

The now Proclaimed Master begins the senseless journey of sadistic torture.

Supporters gleefully carried out search and destroy missions.

Every now and then, the workplace is RAIDED.

And they love to RAID when least expected, maximizing damages.

Then they smile with happiness and joy.

The poor workers' workload increase (unnecessary) and quality drops.

The aggressors take time off to smoke and discuss the next move.

While they smoke, the workers braced themselves for the next attack.

As the energy level becomes lower and lower, people become more and more stress.

The boss wants more explanations.

Add stacks of papers with instructions to follow.

Add more stacks of paper with "unfinalized reference" guide, for daily activities reports.

Everybody suffered silently.

Their head lower with weariness.

Their hearts sank by the minutes.

Their "Heads" detaches and attaches to the other side within seconds.

Waiting for the coming deliverer to lift them out of the gloom.

The sun is nowhere in sight, darkness replaces everything.

The sickening thin scarecrow hungrily waits to create the next disaster.

Another disaster is on the way . . . . ......

Mathematics - Quadratic Equation (Part 1)

Picture is obtained from http://foldspace.files.wordpress.com/2008/06/c4743r.jpg

The mathematics question is,
Find the value of k of the quadratic equation

Such that one of its roots is thrice the value of the other.

Solution:
Let α and β be the roots. We have,

Sum of roots:

Product of roots:

Given that,

Substituting into eq. (1), we get

Therefore the other root is,

What to do next?
The roots,
α and β are found but in terms of k.
How to find the value of k?
Note that equation (2) is not yet used.

Picture is obtained from http://plus.maths.org/issue29/features/quadratic/Quadratic.jpg

Substituting α and β into eq. (2), we have,

How to obtain the Quadratic Formula

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quadratic_equation)
In mathematics, a quadratic equation is a polynomial equation of the second degree. The general form is

The quadratic coefficients are the following:
a is the coefficient of x2
b is the coefficient of x
c is the constant coefficient (also called the free term or constant term).

Quadratic equations are called quadratic because quadratus is Latin for "square".
The roots x or the quadratic formula can be derived by the method of completing the square. Dividing the quadratic equation

by a (which is allowed because a is non-zero), gives:

or

The quadratic equation is now in a form to which the method of completing the square can be applied.
To "complete the square" add the constant,

, to both sides,

The left side is now a perfect square because

Substituting the left side with the perfect square we have,

The right side can be written as a single fraction, with common denominator 4a2. This gives

Taking the square root of both sides yields

Isolating x, gives

This equation is known as the quadratic formula.

How to obtain Sum of roots and Product of roots

The general form is of a quadratic equation is

Dividing the quadratic equation by coefficient, a, we have

If a quadratic equation has roots, α and β, the equation can be written as

That is,

Comparing eq.(1) and eq.(2),

Bus Route retrieved from http://sbstiris.sbstransit.com.sg/jp/jp_by_svc.html (Bus Stops - by SBS IRIS)

This is the bus stop which Bus No. 70M still operates during public holiday, Saturday and Sunday.

It was 5:45pm. Until 7:30pm still 1hr 45mins early. Other people are also busy going out somewhere. Happens to notice the nearby mango trees are blooming with small fruits.

About 6:45pm the bus 70M reaches the National Stadium. Another 10 to 15 minutes walk to reach the indoor stadium. The weather was quite cooling, just good for a stroll across the car parks.

Before 7:00pm at the indoor stadium outskirt. Many have arrived earlier and are in the moving queues up and into the stadium. Many vehicles are seen at the nearby parking lots. People are really prepared for the event which could last late into the night.

Under the canopy of the white tents, few hundreds are directed to the escalator and staircases.

Mainly are young adults but there are many children too. The elderly, handicaps and VIPs are allow to enter by the main entrance located at the ground floor, at the other end of the building.

The crowd patiently join the queue that snaked out of the tent into road's sidewalk and across the car park.

This is truly a multi-national, multi-racial, multi-ages and multi-family affair. The "short term" gloomy economic recession is none of their concern. Everlasting life in heaven is more important. Every obstacles on Earth may be overcome or just let it be. "Whatever will be, will be".

Once inside the moving queue, there is no other option but to follow the flow. There are priority lane but does not know who are qualified to use it. However hundreds are already moving in that queue.

The ultimate aim is to get up to the top entrances either by the escalator or staircase. Many handsome and beautiful ushers to direct the non-ending human traffics. Really appreciate their efficiency and initiatives. All complications are being taken care off, calmly.

One of those rare occasions with "人山人海 - Rén shān rén hǎi - Huge crowds of people; A sea of people". The whole place is literally full of people.

It only 7:10pm and the stadium is almost filled up to capacity (12,000 ?). The ushers blocked all the path and gates, except for the inner rear part of the stadium. Some on wheelchairs and some who are paralysed are already at the bottom of the stadium near the stage.

Single
may be fortunate to be singled out to fill a vacant space. Has the advantages of mingeling with strangers. Everybody is supposed to turn around and shake hands with at least 5 persons. There is no opportunity to just keep to oneself or be shy throughout the whole evening.

The music are very loud, especially the
subwoofers; they can vibrate the hearts. A perfect place to test the ear drum but not suitable for very young babies. It takes a short while to get accustom to this type of environment.

A very memorable night with loud music, and the
exhilarating welcome message from our saviour through the peachers and all who are involved in organising the event.

9:49pm and many are still reluctant to leave after the main event is over. Many new believers joined as members of the christian community. Ushers distributed guide books, takes down particulars and contact numbers. To some, this could be the start of a new beginning in their spiritual lives.

The journey to God's kingdom is again reassured and confirmed.

Believers are also relief that their close relatives, friends and certainly their family members, brothers, sisters, parents, Husbands, wives, children nieces, nephews, uncles and aunties will also be saved.
